Jewel Vixens and Alpha Canines in Storm of Terror part 2: Prowling The Grounds
Like before the team needed a van to get to the location, leaving Alexander and Victoria with Mendoza. It wasn’t a smooth ride since the road was croky and very bumpy. Amethyst and Bill switched during the halfway point since the vixen had already had enough. The husky just took the wheel without arguing, not wanting to face her wrath.

At last they pulled right by the edge of a cliff that had a wooden bridge leading out to the target. Everyone could also see a wrecked ship to the side. Topaz and Nicholas jumped out from the back and began their journey forward. Emerald just waved them goodbye, excited since she knew this time she would fight against Raleigh and Red Rover. Just like the long haired vulpine promised. Both him and his girl began their way forward and noticed it was raining. A sign saying keep out was ahead but both she and him ignored it.
After going through a short tunnel made of rock they emerged and saw the entrance to the enemies’s hideout. A nasty looking gate with two purple colored skulls that had flames in them along with crossbones blocked their way. They could also see more water and another wrecked ship. They could also see one search light in the form of a lighthouse. With a little work both foxes were past the gate and on their way.
It was here they ran into the first set of guards here. Both were taken out quickly. Nicholas and Topaz went up a hill and they could see in the distance a huge boat that was on the shore. The bottom part was torn away so you could see part of the boiler rooms and inner workings. Above this a strange structure somehow was floating. And from a smoke stack on it something like steam was coming out of it. They reported back to Aquamarine and Desmond.
“Interesting,” stated the manned wolf. “Well according the computer Aqua has here, that big blimp is where Raleigh and Red Rover are hiding out.”
Nicholas took a look through some binoculars. “You know… It looks more like a machine to me than a hide-out.”
“You’re right,” said Aquamarine in response. “Mendoza got a report that the enemy has been able to control the weather a bit. Nothing big, but to make it rain whenever they want. Thanks to that badger it seems he’s been able to make a storm machine. But it’s the only one of it’s kind thankfully. And it’s the reason why it never stops raining around here.”
“Well that explains all the wrecked ships.”
“But like why would they want bad weather at their place 24-7?” asked Topaz.
“Beats me,” her boyfriend answered. “But like with the others, it’s only a matter of time before we find out.”
Both then continued and had to cross across a couple of waterfalls. Then another gate blocked their path. But there was a hook with a little jumping and swinging, got the foxes across. The next part was crossing over some water wheels. The vulpine and vixen noticed that now there was machinery along the path like pipes. Then came a few more water wheels.
The next part of the path require both to go pass even more search lights. but this wasn’t a problem to do so. Both then found the gate that blocked the entrance to some kind of cave. With picking on Nicholas’s end, the two got in. After a bit of walking, they came to a ledge. After pulling themselves up the foxes found themselves seeing the big boat with the blimp above from before. They had made it. They could see that this place was like that of a village since there were buildings on here. Nicholas and Topaz reported back to Aquamarine and Desmond.
“That blimp looks like the most secure location on this boat,” stated the long hared vulpine. “If those two are really as smart as those files suggest, then that’s where we’ll find them.”
“Wonderful idea,” said the vixen with glasses on the other end. “But the plan is flawed.”
“Uh… why?” asked Topaz.
“Because it’s impossible to get near them.”
“When are you going to get to the impossible part?” asked Nicholas. “You think I wouldn’t figure something out?”
“Fine!” stated Aquamarine in a bit of a crossed voice. “But I warned you.”
Both the long haired and blond fox made their way forward. Finding a hook that acted as way to get down, the two had to do a bit of hopping to get near a rope that climbing up found them on the boat. “So like where to now?” asked Topaz. “How about over there?” She pointed with a thumb behind her.
Nicholas took a look. “I don’t know,” he began, his paws coming up. “Maybe we should-“
Suddenly an announcement came on. Freezing the two in place. “I say chaps my heart is congratulations to you all.” It was an English accent. It had to be Raleigh. “The Storm Machine has sunk its 50th ship last night and the loot has already been unloaded.”
“Indeed mates,” came an Australian accent. Most likely belonging to Red Rover. “Our operation is moving along splendidly. With the possible acceptation being… SOMEONE’S PERFORMANCE DISPLAYED BELOW DECKS!”
The English Accent came on but angry and yelling. “WE DEMAND THE BOILERS STAY AT FULL PRESSURE AT ALL TIMES! IF YOU LAZY, LOWBROW, TECHNICALLY INCOMPETENT PACK OF GUTTER SLIMES DID YOUR JOBS RIGHT WE’D HAVE SUNK A HUNDRED SHIPS BY NOW!” The voice then went back to the normal tone from before. “But of course 50 boats is a fine achievement.”
“Carry on our boys, carry on,” stated the Australian accent and with that, the announcement went off. Leaving Topaz and Nicholas standing there.
“Well… that was so uncivilized,” commented the vixen. “At least we like know why they have a machine to create bad weather.”
“Come on,” said the vulpine. “Let’s get moving.”
The two did so and did recon work to figure things out. satisfied with the results, the foxes quickly headed back to the others.
